Retirement Ceremony of Cikgu Shahriman

On 16th May, our school hosted a memorable event in conjunction with Teacher’s Day, which also celebrated the retirement of our esteemed educator, Cikgu Shahriman. The celebration was a grand spectacle, with attendees dressed in traditional Malay Sultanate costumes, creating a vibrant and culturally rich atmosphere.

The ceremony began with moving speeches that paid tribute to Cikgu Shahriman’s impressive teaching career. Having dedicated 9 years of his life to teaching at Shah Pekan and 24 years at MCKK, Cikgu Shahriman has left an indelible mark on countless students. Colleagues, students, and administrators spoke of his unwavering commitment, inspiring lessons, and the positive impact he had on the school community. Cikgu Shahriman also took the stage to express his gratitude and share fond memories of his time as an educator.

The event continued with a variety of performances. Cikgu Shahriman, known for his passion for music, delivered an emotional singing performance, joined by a few teachers and students who showcased their talents in tribute to him. The highlight of the entertainment was a performance by the renowned artist Hazama Azmi, who thrilled the audience with his captivating voice.

The day concluded with a heartfelt send-off ceremony, where the school community came together to honor Cikgu Shahriman’s retirement. As he embarks on a new chapter, his legacy of dedication, wisdom, and kindness will continue to inspire both students and staff alike.
