Majlis Watikah Perlantikan Badan Kepimpinan MCKK Sesi 24/25

Leadership plays a pivotal role at MCKK, as reflected in the school’s slogan, ‘Kecemerlangan, Kesejahteraan, Kepimpinan’ (Excellence, Well-being, Leadership). On 22nd April 2024, a significant event was held to pass on hopes and responsibilities to the leadership bodies that will guide the school throughout the year.

The event was attended by the school administration, teachers, and students. It began with a speech by a student, Mr. Ahmad Fahim, who reminded students to respect the teachers who have sacrificed their time and effort to help them succeed. This was followed by a speech from the Senior Assistant of Student’s Affair,Mr. Fidzamil bin Basaruddin, who delivered his speech and message to all students in leadership positions.

The leadership bodies presented were Kesatuan Pelajar Kolej Melayu (11), Badan Nahdhah Islamiah (6), Pengawas Pusat Sumber (8), Pemimbing Rakan Sebaya (7), Cyberbrigade (6), and the House Captains (4). The ceremony began with photos of these leaders on stage with the excellent principal of The Malay College Kuala Kangsar, Mr Mohd Shahadan bin Abd Rahman, followed by the pledge from the appointed leaders. 

All the selected students stood on stage, raised their hands with open palms, and recited the pledge. It was a powerful and emotional moment. The atmosphere fell silent, as the weight of responsibilities, hopes, and expectations they carried on their shoulders became palpable. The ikrar was led by Muhammad Haziq bin Khairuddin, president of KPKM.
