MCKK Spartans Shine as Runners-Up in National U15 SBP Championship!

The MCKK Spartans kicked off the new academic session with an impressive achievement, claiming the Runner-Up title in the Bowl Category of the National Youth Under-15 SBP Championship 2025! Their dedication, teamwork, and relentless spirit stood out throughout the competition.

The tournament took place at SM Sains Gua Musang (GUAMSS) from 20 to 22 February 2025 and was organized by GUAMSS and Lembaga Kemajuan Kelantan Selatan (KESEDAR). Competing at GUAMSS’ Field and Padang Sivik, the Spartans demonstrated true sportsmanship and perseverance throughout the competition.

A heartfelt appreciation to the teacher advisors and coaches for their unwavering guidance and support in shaping the team’s success.

We are pleased to introduce Mr Aimin Fadhlee bin Mahmud Zuhodi as the new Principal of The Malay College Kuala Kangsar. An esteemed alumnus from the Class of 1990, Mohd Shah House, Mr Aimin Fadhlee brings with him 28 years of dedicated service in education since his first posting in 1997.

His journey as an educator began at SM Sains Kota Tinggi, before moving to SM Sains Pasir Puteh. He then served at SM Sains Kuala Terengganu, where he held the roles of Head of Department and Head of Panel, demonstrating his commitment to academic excellence. He later joined SM Sains Hulu Terengganu as the Senior Assistant of Co-Curriculum, before being promoted to Senior Assistant of Student Affairs. His leadership continued at SM Sains Setiu, where he first served before taking on the role of Caretaker and Senior Assistant of Administration at Akademi Sains Pendang. Eventually, he returned to SM Sains Setiu to serve as Principal, leading the school with dedication and vision.

With his vast experience across multiple SBP institutions, Mr Aimin Fadhlee is well-equipped to lead The Malay College Kuala Kangsar towards new heights of excellence. We extend our warmest welcome and look forward to his leadership in continuing the proud legacy of MCKK.

MCKK Shines at Malaysia Techlympics (MT) 2024 National Finals

The Malay College Kuala Kangsar (MCKK) achieved outstanding success at the Malaysia Techlympics (MT) 2024 National Finals, held on November 18, 2024, at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC).

Four MCKK teams competed in three categories: Blueprint for a Better Future (Biotechnology), Unmanned Drones (Renewable Energy), and Sumo Robotics. Their exceptional efforts earned them prestigious awards:

• Champion in Blueprint for a Better Future
• Champion in Sumo Robotics

This remarkable debut highlights MCKK’s excellence in innovation and technology. The event was organized by the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation (MOSTI) Malaysia, in collaboration with the Malaysian Innovation Foundation.

We are thrilled to celebrate the incredible achievements of our students at the 4th International Creative Creators Playground (ICCP) 2024, held at Sekolah Seri Puteri (SSP) in collaboration with the Bahagian Pengurusan Sekolah Berasrama Penuh (BPSBP) from May to October 2024. In this prestigious competition, where participants showcased their creativity by producing films using the iMovie app on iPads, our teams truly shone. One team achieved the Platinum 2nd Award, six teams earned the Gold Award, three teams received the Silver Award, and two teams secured the Bronze Award. Congratulations to all our creative talents on their impressive accomplishments and dedication!

Congratulations to MCKK Robotic Teams at the National Robothon Challenge (NROC) 2024!

We are thrilled to celebrate the achievements of the MCKK Robotic Teams at the National Robothon Challenge (NROC) 2024 National Finals, held from October 18-19 at UiTM Shah Alam.

Organized by 5T3M and Digital Nexus in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and UiTM, this prestigious event saw our students excel with one team receiving the Distinction Award and three teams securing the Excellence Award. This experience serves as a vital stepping stone for our junior teams as they prepare for even more impactful competitions in the future.
