The Fully Residential Schools International Symposium (FRSIS) was initiated in 2011 and is organized by the Ministry of Education Malaysia under the Fully Residential Schools Management Division, with the assistance of the Malaysian National Commission for UNESCO. The international nature of this program aligns with the vision of Fully Residential Schools to produce “World-Class Leaders.”

The participation of Fully Residential School students in this international program allows them to interact and think globally while applying the knowledge they have gained in line with the norms of the host country. This program also has a positive impact on developing leadership qualities among students, as they take part in organizing international-level programs by serving on the working committees, laying the foundation for the smooth success of the event.

The event took place from 10th to 14th June 2024 at Sekolah Menengah Sains Tuanku Syed Putra, Perlis. Four students who participated in the competition achieved the highest recognition, winning the Platinum First Place Medal. 

The East Coast Schools Educational Research Symposium (ECSERS) 2024 is a competition introduced to schools in the East Coast region, where students present research on assigned topics linked to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) introduced by the United Nations. The competition is supported by the Fully Residential Schools Division (BPSBP), the Kelantan Excellent Teachers Council (MFGK), the Sains Pasir Puteh Alumni Association (PASPP), Universiti Malaysia Kelantan, and UiTM Machang.

On June 9, 2024, the MCKK Cagers emerged victorious in the North Zone Basketball Tournament, showcasing exceptional talent, teamwork, and determination throughout the competition. This win marks a significant achievement for the team and sets a positive tone for their upcoming challenges.

The MCKK Cagers’ victory in the North Zone Basketball Tournament not only highlights their skill and determination but also sets the stage for future competitions. As they look ahead, the team aims to build on this success and strive for further accolades in the upcoming national tournament.

The MCKK Spartans football team has finally won the U15 MSSD Kuala Kangsar Football Championship after 15 years of trying, by defeating SMK Clifford in the final match on the 5th July 2024

Congratulations also to the U18 team for being the runners-up of the championship.
